Schedule your regular checkup!

Do you remember that during the pandemic, back in 2020, the National Government suspended the implementation of periodic inspections of natural gas installations nationwide to prevent the spread of infection among both inspectors and users?

At that time, the government gave a few months' grace to users whose inspections were due during the first half of 2020, meaning that once social distancing controls were relaxed, users had their inspections carried out in the second half of 2020, exceeding the deadline set by law.

Well, five years have passed since then, and it is time to have your periodic inspection done again. However, as was the case in 2020, Llanogas' partner inspection agencies will have a large number of appointments in the second half of 2025 that could exceed their capacity.

For this reason, we invite our users who have already been notified by Llanogas through written communication on letterhead to comply with this deadline in advance. This basically means returning to the expiration date or the initial expiration month, thus ensuring that the conditions of your gas installation are safe for use.

And how does the user know when to schedule their inspection?

First of all, it is very important for our users to know that the only entity authorized to inform them of the deadline or dates for their periodic inspection is Llanogas.

To this end, five months before the five-year period since the last inspection expires, Llanogas begins to send users communications on letterhead, informing them of the dates and deadlines. Also, and this is very important, the dates begin to appear in the yellow section of the gas bill: this section shows when the five months begin, when the inspection deadline expires, and when service will be suspended if the inspection is not performed. If there is no information in the yellow section of the gas bill, this means that the user is not due for an inspection.

Even so, if the user has any doubts about their periodic review date, they can also call the customer service line at 608 6784049 or 323 2540629 to check the deadlines for their periodic review and thus validate that they are not within the minimum and maximum deadlines.

What should users who have already received the letter from Llanogas do? How is the inspection scheduled?

If users wish to have their periodic inspection carried out by Llanogas, they can schedule it by calling 608 6784049 or 323 2540629. If you do it through Llanogas, you can finance it through your bill in up to 24 installments, as well as any repairs that may be necessary, and you will not have to pay cash at the time of the inspection.

Or, if you prefer, you can also have your inspection carried out by another inspection body, under the commercial conditions they offer.

So our final recommendation to users who are within this five-month period is to schedule your periodic inspection as soon as possible, because you will very likely find congestion in the scheduling calendars.

Our interest as a company is to ensure that our users can make safe use of natural gas with certified installations.
